A few years back my daughter wanted to be her favorite book character (Princess Magnolia) from the book series Princess in Black for "book day" at school. Of course, nothing was to be found on the interwebs to purchase ... So I went to work piecing together the costume with various pieces of clothing we had in the house (black shirt, black pants). I found the perfect princess in black cape and princess in black mask on amazon.  Those pieces were easy but I realized quickly I was going to need to get creative to get the details arranged for this outfit... enter my Cricut machine.
